Building Hope Scholarship Fund - $25 Donation

The Building Hope Scholarship Fund is supported by contributions from NAHB Professional Women in Building members, building industry professionals and corporate sponsors. The fund is named after Hope S. Bettilyon, PWB’s (then named the NAHB Women’s Auxiliary) first president who in 1955 collected $1 from each council member and began the tradition of an annual scholarship. The fund is responsible for supporting decades of women in the building industry and trades. Specifically, money from the fund is given to selected high school and college students to helps defray costs associated with pursuing education and professional development opportunities in the residential construction industry.
