Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Exam
The HCCP online exam covers development, management and compliance issues and Section 42 policy and is designed for current practitioners in the LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) industry. The exam is a multiple-choice exam with a “best answer” format.

The HCCP designation, through the National Association of Home Builders, demonstrates your high-level of knowledge, experience, and education in the LIHTC industry. By taking and passing the exam, you are eligible to complete the experience profile and application to receive the certification.
The HCCP exam is a multiple-choice exam with a “best answer” format. It is designed for current LIHTC professionals, and you must score at least 65.3% to pass.

- Development
- Compliance issues
- Section 42 policy

- This exam is non‐transferable. Do not use another individual’s login information to register for this course.
- Upon purchase of this exam, you will receive an invitation from Testing Support [[email protected]] inviting you to create your testing account. Please follow the instructions closely.
- The purchase of this exam allows for remote proctoring or in person proctoring at a testing center.
- When testing remotely, it is recommended you take your exam from a personal computer. Work computers may have settings that complicate the process. If you will be taking it from a work computer or on a work network, please run this list by your IT (Information Technology) team in advance to ensure you will have a proper connection.
