Professional Women in Building National Membership
NAHB Professional Women in Building represents nearly a thousand women in the industry across the U.S. Professional Women in Building members work in all aspects of the building industry: as owners, marketing experts, interior designers, and mortgage brokers.
NAHB Professional Women in Building Council membership requires membership with NAHB. Individuals affiliated with NAHB (a member, employee of a member or family of a member) whose local home builders association does not include an NAHB-affiliated Professional Women in Building group are welcome to join as National Members of NAHB Professional Women in Building. If you are unsure if there is a local chapter in your area, contact your local/state HBA. Search for a local/state HBA in your area.

Building Women magazine — Published annually this publication highlights members, leadership, PWB in review, as well as professional growth for women in the home building industry.
Networking: Learn from your peers how to find success as a woman in the building industry. During national meetings held three times a year, members from across the country have the opportunity to join their peers in discussions about key industry issues, professional development and business management. Don’t come to meetings? Online networking opportunities are available through the PWB Book Club, on Facebook, LinkedIn, and the Professional Women in Building Member Directory.
Professional Development: Council Concepts, including tools and resources provided during Professional Women in Building Week as well as programs at the International Builders Show in the PWB HQ.
PWB/National Housing Endowment Scholarships and Grants
PWB offers Leadership Grants to introduce local leaders to national leadership opportunities during the Spring Leadership Meeting. Grants can also be used to encourage individuals to further their education and training in housing industry related certification programs.
Friends and family have access to the Strategies for Success and Building Hope scholarships, which provide financial support to qualified undergraduate students interested in advancing their education in housing industry related programs.
