Implementing the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) has been a complex journey for both state housing agencies and affordable housing management companies. This session will feature Tari Bradley, Portfolio Support Manager at Oregon Housing and Community Services, and Carole Brown, Compliance Manager at CAHEC Management, who will discuss HOTMA implementation issues and lessons learned from getting organized and training staff, working through software and form updates, and managing layered funding challenges across properties and states.
