On this walking tour through America’s most charming historic district, you’ll learn about Rainbow Row, the Historic Waterfront Battery, Fort Sumter, Antebellum mansions, hidden gardens and courtyards, historic churches and graveyards, and their impactful Revolutionary and Civil War landmarks. Following the tour, you will eat like a local with tastings at three restaurants and then stroll through two specialty shops enjoying the best of Upper King Street. Sample mouth-watering dishes of Lowcountry cuisine from the popular culinary innovators in this ever-evolving restaurant district. The registration fee includes a private tour by a professional guide and tastings. This is a walking tour so please plan to get your exercise in with comfortable walking shoes. Turn runs rain or shine and will depart directly from The Mills House. Your ticket will include a private 90-minute tour with a tasting at three restaurants and two specialty shops through Charleston’s Historic District.
