Course Overview:

Build a strong foundation in professional project management tailored to residential construction projects. This course introduces the core principles, roles and workflows that drive successful projects, while also exploring how AI tools and Google search are transforming the ways project managers access information, communicate with teams and make decisions in real time.

You will learn how structured project management improves project outcomes across scope, schedule, budget and client experience. The course walks through the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to project closeout, giving you a clear roadmap for managing every phase with confidence.

Through practical, real-world scenarioswill explore how to set up projects effectively, run productive meetings, manage documentation and coordinate internal teams, trade partners and clients. You will also gain exposure to essential tools such as estimating systems, schedules, job costing, logs and reporting. Learn how emerging AI-powered tools and smarter search strategies can streamline these processes and surface critical project information faster.

By the end of the course, you will understand how to manage daily project responsibilities from site coordination and materials management to change orders, financial tracking and client communication. You will leave with practical systems and workflows that help you stay organized, proactively solve problems and deliver consistent, high-quality project outcomes.
