The National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) is replacing UPCS and HQS as the new inspection standard for most affordable housing programs, including the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. In this session, attendees will learn about NSPIRE applicability, standards, and processes. In addition, the presenter will share information about the most common findings from NSPIRE inspections on tax credit properties in Indiana during the first three quarters of 2024.
